“Thrive” and “regulated” in the same sentence — sounds like an oxymoron, doesn’t it?
It is hard to believe at times, but the potential to grow and succeed remains limitless in this industry, even within these conditions of unprecedented restraint. Beginning shortly, the Deluxe
Knowledge Exchange 2010 Collaborative will set out to research, identify and ultimately share the most effective ways to prosper in today’s highly regulated banking climate.
The 2010 Collaborative brings together thought leaders, business strategists, experience experts and your industry peers, all working intensively for several months to understand and transform
how regulations affect the employee and customer experience (meet this year’s Collaborative members at DeluxeKnowledgeExchange. com/Collab).
New industry regulations have dramatically altered the way financial institutions interact with customers, generate revenue, develop new products and train employees. These are difficult business conditions to be sure, but we are not the first industry that has faced heavy regulation. The healthcare and food industries, for example, have endured it for decades. And despite the regulatory constraints, many organizations within these industries have found myriad ways to not only survive, but to thrive. This can happen in our
industry, too. The 2010 Collaborative is committed to showing you how.
During their research, Collaborative members will participate in a series of working meetings to learn and apply new skills designed to improve business results, including finding the most effective ways to communicate new regulatory information to customers and members. They will share key findings and best practices within their respective organizations, and the team’s most definitive insights will be collected and presented at the Deluxe 2011 Knowledge Expos.
We are truly excited about the discoveries that await, and we believe they will promote permanent and positive change across the financial services industry.
